Navig8 Chemical Tankers posted its fourth consecutive loss as daily earnings fell and operating expenses increased from year-ago levels.

The Oslo OTC-listed owner reported a net loss of $4.9m for the third quarter, compared to a $3.7m net profit a year earlier. The loss per share amounted to $0.13.

Revenue nudged up to $39m from $35.8m a year earlier.

Vessel operating days were up 31% from a year ago to 2,815 as the company added eight new chemical tankers over the period, bringing its total on-the-water fleet up to 32.
