Bob Burke-led Ridgebury Tankers has snapped up a 16-year-old VLCC from Euronav as it makes a fresh play for elderly large tanker tonnage.

TradeWinds understands Ridgebury has paid in the region of $22m to $22.5m for Euronav’s 298,330-dwt Artois (built 2001).
