The Sea-Vista joint venture controlled by Florida's Seacor Holdings has sold one of its Jones Act tankers for $135m.

The unnamed eco-vessel will be chartered back from the unidentified buyer by Sea-Vista and it will simultaneously be bareboated out to an oil major.

Sea-Vista is a company formed with Avista Capital Partners in which Seacor has a 51% stake.

Seacor's Seabulk unit is listed with seven tankers, two of which are MRs built in 2016, with the others much older.
