Trafigura denies involvement in North Korean oil transfer

Trafigura denied involvement in the illicit transfer of fuel to North Korea after South Korea's government said the Swiss oil trader owned the cargo that was shipped in breach of UN sanctions.

Trafigura said in an emailed statement that it did not order the shipment of oil to North Korea and it neither owns nor chartered the 16,000-dwt Lighthouse Winmore (built 2014).
