Malaysian owner AET has secured a long-term contract for one of its suezmax newbuildings set to be delivered from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, it is claimed.

Shipbrokers say that Repsol has taken in the 158,000-dwt AET tanker on a three-year charter.

While the ship has yet to be named, it is expected to be handed over to the owner this month.
