Diana Shipping says it has entered a time charter contract for one of its panamax vessels as dry bulk rates sit at seasonal lows, but remain higher than year-ago levels.
The New York-listed company chartered the 75,172-dwt Dione (built 2001) to Hong Kong-based Ausca Shipping for $10,350 per day, less a 5% commission. The charter lasts between 14 and 17 months.
