Trafigura plans to quadruple the amount of US crude brought to its Corpus Christi, Texas export terminal by next year.

The Switzerland-based trading company says it signed a long-term deal to take 300,000 barrels per day of crude oil coming off the Cactus II Pipeline.

The Cactus II, owned by Plains All American, is an expansion of the original Cactus pipeline that will be in service by the third quarter of 2019.
