American Shipping Company (AMSC) has seen earnings drop in the fourth quarter as costs rose.
The US Jones Act tanker player said net profit was $4m, down from $5.8m in 2016.
It banked unchanged bareboat revenue of $22.1m from OSG, with a backlog of $226m.
Interest expenses were up $1m, however, and it made a loss on investments, against a gain in 2016.
