Sabrina Chao looked out upon hundreds of fellow shipping industry members with a bright smile, having received the Connecticut Maritime Association 2018 Commodore Award.
"This is my first visit to the CMA conference and I have certainly got much more out of the experience of attending than merely being entrusted with some dubious headgear," she said Wednesday night, drawing a huge laugh from the crowd.
