Fides Ship Management has sold a 25-year-old aframax tanker for demolition.
The Ukrainian shipowner has sold the 95,000-dwt Velda (built 1993) for scrapping in Bangladesh, according to UK broking sources.
Satellite tracking data from VesselsValue show that the ship is already off anchor at Chittagong.
The ship's price has not been confirmed, but is likely to be around $7m. Contact information for Odessa-based Fides, which Clarksons ties to a fleet of just two vessels, was not available.
