A Vroon-operated tanker has spilled bunker fuel in the Mississippi River in the US.
Vroon tanker company Iver Ships told TradeWinds that the amount of the leak from the 46,000-dwt Iver Exporter (built 2000) has yet to be determined.
It confirmed there was an accidental release of heavy fuel oil from a bunker tank at approximately 1am on Monday near the Shell Norco complex in Louisiana.
