Greek owner Thenamaris is believed to have locked one of its LR2 tankers into a period contract.
Its 114,000-dwt Searunner (built 2017) has been chartered by Koch for between 12 and 15 months, shipbrokers say.
A rate of $15,500 per day is being placed on the contract, compared with the $14,500 per day Fearnleys suggests for an LR2 on a one-year deal.
