An Opec meeting in two weeks could provide a fillip to tankers as market watchers expect the producer cartel to open the taps. But more cargoes may not boost all segments equally.

The cartel, along with non-members such as Russia, will meet in two weeks to discuss the current supply situation. On the agenda, according to press reports, is a reversal of the year-and-half old cuts in output enacted at the start of 2017.
