PDVSA of Venezuela could be about to import foreign crude to produce domestic fuel for the first time.
Planning documents seen by Reuters indicate the country would have to produce 850,000 barrels per day (bpd) for its own needs and to service its fuel supply contracts abroad.
If PDVSA decides to process the foreign crude, this would produce 606,000 bpd.
