Tanker owners are set for a boost from Opec after the world’s leading oil producers agreed to turn up the taps.
The cartel has overcome opposition from Iran and will raise output by about one million barrels per day.
Saudi Arabia and Russia have been pushing for the increase but a hard meeting was expected today after Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said on Thursday he did not think an agreement could be reached.
