CEO Niels Stolt-Nielsen says the chemicaltankers of bankrupt Berlian Laju Tanker are more attractive to his company.
Stolt-Nielsen,fielding a question during the company’s second quarter conference call,explained: “BLT is more interesting than Eitzen.
“Ofcourse at the right price Eitzen might be interesting but others would beinterested also.”
Heexplains Stolt is more attracted to the larger chemical tanker segment ratherthan the smaller regional vessels of its Oslo-listed rival.
