A leading German KG (limited partnership) house appears to closing in on the sale of four aframax tankers in a transaction worth an estimated $42m.
Brokers say Konig & Cie is in talks to offload the 105,300-dwt Cape Aspro, Cape Avila, Cape Ancona and Cape Akrotiri (all built 1998) in a deal with buyers from the Far East.
If the vessels pass inspection sources claim the units will fetch around $10.5m
