Marc La Monte, the Connecticut-basedpool operator’s chief executive, tells TradeWinds he is confident about findingreplacements for the departed.
He says this will be achieved by takingon more tonnage from existing participants and new entrants alike.
By La Monte's calculations Economou’s private crudecarrier arm, TMS Tankers, had 14 aframaxes enrolled in Heidmar’s Sigma Tankerspool and nine suezmaxes with Blue Finn as of 15 August.
