Evangelos Marinakis’s US-listed company has the 49,995-dwt Alexandros II, Aristotelis II and Aris II (all built 2008) on long term bareboat charters to OSG.
These fixtures had scheduled terminations in February, July and September of 2018, respectively at rates of $13,000 per day.
Capital says under the new deal the charters will be on substantially the same terms but at a rate of $6,250 per day.
