Lake Charles Terminal, a jointly-owned subsidiary of BG Group and Energy Transfer Partners Southern Union Co, was given the green light to ship up to 2.0 billion cubic feet of gas per day for the next 20 years.
Observers say Wednesday’s development marks a major milestone for both the applicant and the domestic LNG segment as a whole and note it is one of only three projects that have secured the green light.
