A major oil and gas company will take the 156,000-cbm Wilforce for three years from late January with an option for a further year, Oslo-listed Awilco said today in a statement.
The identity of the charterer was not revealed however TradeWinds reported earlier this month that Italian company ENI was thought to be behind the deal.
GasLog and Golar LNG were said to have been beaten to the tender.
