Glenn’s 3,000-dwt tanker Glenn Bataan (built 1982) wasarrested in Singapore late last week by lawyers representing the legal firmRajah & Tann.
The Glenn Bataan is the second Glenn vessel under arrest inthe port. In September the 197-gt tug Glenn Gladiator (built 2005) wasarrested by bunker supplier Transocean Oil after it missed $879,000 worth of instalmentson a $2.2m settlement agreement.
Glenn has become the centre of a high profile briberyscandal involving the United States Navy.
