Navig8 Crude Tankers, whichbought its first VLCCs only four months ago, is now level with establishedplayers Ocean Tankers, Dynacom and John Fredriksen with 14 owned VLCCs afterits latest deal, data from EA Gibson shows.

As TradeWinds reports today,Navig8 has expanded its VLCC newbuilding count after adding six tankers at South Korea's HHI and China's SWS, and Hanjin-Subic.

While the orderbook makes thenewcomer the joint 12th largest VLCC owner globally in a list led by NITC with37 Vs trading, it is the leader in the newbuilding environment.
