Oslo-listed Solvang says an oil major has taken the 75,000-cbm Clipper Sirius (built 2008) for up to four years.
In a statement the shipowner explained the vessel had been fixed for an initial two years from 1 January 2015 with two further one-year options attached.
No rate has been revealed, however, the deal comes at a time when VLGC spot rates are at record levels.
