The company said its new acquisition owns two double-hulledbitumen tankers built in 2009 and 2004, plus three bunker vessels.
Petrolmar operates in the ports of Genoa, Savona, La Speziaand Marina di Carrara.
Vroon said: “For the time being, no changes will be made to the organisationor operations of the company.”
No price was given for the deal.
