The New York-listed owner said net earningswere $53.3m to 31 March, up from $6.6m in the same three months of 2013.

The 2014 figure included a gain of $51.4mfrom the disposal of the seven VLCCs.

Revenue grew to $76.73m from $44.92m, drivenby an increase in the average number of operating vessels, both chartered andowned, to 50.7 from 29.6.

But overall time charter equivalent revenueper day dropped to $15,906 per day from $16,597 year-on-year.
