Dane Steen Nygaard Madsen becomes chief operatingofficer on 1 June, it said.
“He brings with him solid experience inrunning ships, stemming from his seagoing career as well as his time with APMoller in Copenhagen where he was operationally responsible for a large sectionof its fleet,” it said.
Madsen has also been technical director of Nordic Tankers/Herning Shipping.
He also has experience in overseeing newbuildingprojects from various yards in Denmark, Germany, Korea and China.
