Polemis’s New Shipping has picked up the 281,000-dwt Kassos Warrior (built 2000) from Polembros Shipping, which the brothers ran together until earlier this year, brokers believe.
TradeWinds is told the vessel has just been renamed New Andros following the deal.
No price has been disclosed on the trade, which take’s New’s VLCC count to four.
This month Adam Polemis has also bought the 281,100-dwt Ryuho Maru and the 280,000-dwt Kou Ei (both built 1999) from Japanese sellers.
