BMZ Group, controlled by Bilal Erdogan, has acquired the 7,150-dwt Mecid Aslanov from the Palmali group, Turkish media said.
It is due for delivery in October.
Clarksons lists the vessel - hull 78 - as ordered in June last year at the Turkter yard in Tuzla, Istanbul. The Equasis website now lists it as owned by BMZ.
It is the only ship listed in BMZ’s fleet.
