It said the sales would be conducted on an "as is, where is" basis on 12 November.
The vessels are the 56,000-dwt tankers Paria (built 1982) and Moruy (built 1983), the 88,000-dwt tankers Leander (built 1983) and Morichal (built 1984) and the 14,160-cbm LPG vessels Yavire and Paramacay (both built 1983).
It will have no LPG tonnage after the sale.
All the ships are anchored at various locations around the country
It has invited bids to operate or scrap the vessels.
