The first tanker to lift Kurdish oil from the Turkish port of Ceyhan, the 159,062-dwt United Leadership (built 2005), is believed to have been involved in a ship to ship cargo transfer on Tuesday night, off Malta.
It was anchored off Morocco for more than four months before departing from Gibraltar on 25 September.
According to marinetraffic.com, the United Leadership is currently sailing across the Mediterranean heading to Greece for orders.
