The Malaysian tanker and LNG carrier owner said Nasarudin will remain on the board in a non-executive capacity from 1 January.
He served as a director from 2004 to 2010, when he became president and CEO.
Yee was appointed COO in July 2013 and has also been vice president of corporate planning and development.
He has a background as an auditor and studied financial accounting and management and economics in the UK.
