Trade sources said India, Iran's biggest market after China, took 250,600 barrels per day (bpd) of crude last month, up 14% year-on-year, but down 19% from October, according to the Iran Daily.

Essar Oil was the biggest buyer in November, followed by state-run Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemical.

Cargoes from Iran reached 270,100 bpd over the 11-month period, up from a low base in 2013 due to sanctions making it difficult to find shipping insurance.
