An arrest warrant was served on the 26,000-dwt chemical tanker Ginga Lynx (built 2009) this past Sunday at the request of lawyers from the legal firm AsiaLegal LLC.

TradeWinds understands that a cargo owner’s claim is the reason behind the arrest.

There are currently 11 ships under arrest in Singapore. The majority are small bunker tankers caught up in the OW Bunkers bankruptcy saga.
