The PV Trans Oil owned 9,202-dwt PV Oil Venus (built 1997) was detained earlier this week by Singapore’s admiralty sheriff.
It was arrested by local law firm Asia Legal LLC on the instructions of Jalvahan Ship Trading, court documents show.
AIS data shows the ship presently moored to the south west off Singapore’s Sentosa Island in position 01° 24.49'N, 103° 79.45'E.
Court documents show that the Singapore-registered plaintiff is seeking damages of SGD 381,211 ($304,895).
