Brokers were reporting the 115,000-dwt Front Lion (built 2014) and Front Panther (built 2015) had been fixed at $25,000 per day.
The ships were built at China's Guangzhou shipyard and were ordered for $42m each.
Frontline 2012 has 12 LR2 newbuildings at Chinese yards and they are all set for in-house commercial management.
