The tanker and bulker owner said the net loss was INR 862.4m ($14m) to 31 December, against INR 178.5m in the same period of 2013.
Revenue was down at INR 4.52bn from INR 7.92bn year-on-year.
The fall in revenue was due to the scaling down of logistics services by Essar Logistics and the currently depressed spot freight markets, the company said.
