Hafnia said it had agreed to acquire the 75,000-dwt Kihada (to be renamed Hafnia Africa); the 75,000–dwt Arctic Char (to be renamed Hafnia Arctic); the 74,000-dwt Maguro (to be renamed Hafnia Asia); and the 75,000–dwt Karei (to be renamed Hafnia Australia).
No price was revealed, but the 2010-built vessels will join the Straits Tankers LR1 pool this month.
This already has more than 30 vessels in operation.
