The Oslo-listed shipowner said it will acquire eight new vessels fixed on 15-year bareboat contracts with Navig8 Chemical Tankers.
The first four 37,000-dwt tankers are due for delivery from Hyundai Mipo in the second and third quarters of 2015.
The other four 49,000-dwt ships are being built at STX in Korea for hand-over in the first three quarters of 2016.
The company did not confirm the vessels are being bought from Navig8, but the delivery dates and yards fit tankers ordered by the expanding pools power.
