Milaha told investors today that discussions have been initiated to pull the two chemical tanker divisions together.

In a statement Milaha said: “If successful, this move is expected to result in a larger and stronger business, provide better financial returns, and strengthen the combined business market position.”

It gave no guidance as too how large the combined fleet will be.

Milaha has two handysize chemical tankers in its mixed fleet which also includes dry cargo vessels, boxships, tugs and LPG carriers.
