Euronav has pulled one of its VLCCs from the spot market and placed it on time charter.

New York-listed Euronav says the 319,000-dwt TI Hellas (built 2005) has been taken on a three year deal.

TradeWinds has previously reported the vessel to have been fixed by Petrobras at $41,000 per day.

Euronav chief executive Paddy Rodgers told TradeWinds in an interview last week that the company considered time charter opportunities on a case by case basis,
