The US crude oil export ban may be up for debate again if one Texas congressman gets his way.
On the upcoming docket for the House of Representatives is the bill House Resolution 8 (HR 8), dubbed the “North American Energy Security and Infrastructure Act of 2015.”
US Representative Joe Barton wants to attach to the bill an amendment, which says “no official of the federal government shall impose or enforce any restriction on the export of crude oil.”
