US shipowner Schuyler Line Navigation has seen the charter of one of its vessels to the US military extended for another year.
The 8,000-dwt SLNC Pax (built 2008) has been fixed to the US Military Sealift Command for a firm-fixed-price contract of $18.2m.
This contract contains an option and bonus, which if exercised, will bring the contract value for the Maryland-based shipowner to $33.8m.
