Frontline chief financial officer Inger Klemp has boosted her holding in the tanker giant.

Klemp has picked up 159,507 shares at NOK 21.54 each, investors are told.

Her $385,820 move comes with VLCC rates still averaging over $100,000 per day in the first week of 2016.

Klemp now controls 900,000 Frontline shares, a slice worth around NOK 19.08m ($2.41m).

The purchase came to light in a week where tanker stocks have fallen 12% amid a wide shipping sell-off, according to Amit Mehrotra of Deutsche Bank.
