Danish tanker owner and fuel supplier OW Bunker enjoyed a record year of growth in 2010.
The Wrist Group company said volumes rose 15% while pre-tax profit reached $48m from $32m in 2009.
It attributed the rise to its "controlled development of global operations."
Morten Skou, chief financial officer, said: “These latest results clearly highlight the strength of our business model, which has proven to provide stability and sustainable growth in a volatile market and global economy."
