Bellwether companies Euronav and Scorpio Tankers are both set to report their accounts this week in what Deutsche Bank has touted as the most interesting and consequential earnings season in recent memory.
Analyst Amit Mehrotra notes given the weaker rates on offer in the period it will give management teams the change to defend their “steadfast optimism”.
