Saudi Arabia has surpassed Russia as the top supplier of crude oil to China despite an overall drop in sales volumes.
According to a market report issued released to by Banchero Costa, China imported 4.569m tons of crude from Saudi Arabia in June, which equates to 1.112m barrels per day (bpd).
However, the report also notes that this figure is 14.2% down on the year.
