Nordic American Tankers CEO Herbjorn Hansson is staying positive on a faltering tanker market.
He said current demand for crude is growing every year by 1.2m to 1.3m barrels a day and this should continue for years to come.
“The production of oil is also expected to increase..., which is positive for the tanker market. This, combined with few new orders for ships being placed today, should be good for our market long term."
