Sweden is ready to receive its first Kurdish crude cargo in at least two years.
The 105,709-dwt Minerva Maya (built 2002) has loaded cargo from the Turkish port of Ceyhan and is en route for Brofjorden, Sweden.
Vessel tracking websites show that the vessel is expected to reach its destination on 1 October. It is currently sailing in the Aegean Sea.
This would mark the first shipment of Kurdish oil to the Nordic country since at least December 2014.
