The European Union (EU)’s three biggest shipping nations have vowed to work more closely together to make better use of their combined weight in international maritime policymaking.
Shipping ministers from Malta, Greece and Cyprus met on the sidelines of the Malta Maritime Summit in Valletta this week and agreed to maintain and formalise that contact in view of crucial regulatory proceedings at the EU and the International Mari-time Organization (IMO).
